The Castres fair opens today at noon at the exhibition center. An exceptional edition since the Castres fair is celebrating its 100th anniversary with numerous events created for the occasion, notably exhibitions in halls 2000 and 3000 on “The first fair-exhibition in 1923”, “Castres in 1923” or even “Le Castres Olympique in 1923”. Or the one called “More than a century of cinema in Castres” in the town pavilion. Cars from the 20s to the 40s will also be visible outside on the park.
In addition to the numerous exhibitors from different sectors of activity, visitors will find the Pitchoun space, a paradise for children who can enjoy outdoor inflatable games, and a gourmet market and the restaurant marquee.
But what also makes the fair a success are these events every evening.
Find this Friday evening at the Marché Gourmand at 7 p.m. on the V And B stand a DJ aperitif in partnership with the association “La lune posterior les granges”, at the Chapiteau des Restos at 9 p.m. a Roaring Twenties show and at 10:30 p.m. at the Bodegas space, in the Lacaune hall, a BR concert! D followed by DJ Remo.
Open from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. Single price: €2.50. Free for children under 14. Entry prohibited to animals. Access to restaurants and bodegas, every day until 10:30 p.m.
