Gabon: Steeve Nzeko Dieko under house arrest

The Secretary General of the Gabonese Democratic Party was placed under house arrest, after his appearance before the investigating judge on September 19, 2023.

According to the Gabon Actu news site, a total of ten people were arrested after the coup d’état of August 30, 2023 by the CTRI. The third on the list of people under house arrest, Jordan Camuset “friend of Noureddin. He carried out missions for Noureddin Bongo Valentin“. And 7 other people were placed under arrest warrant at Libreville central prison Ian Ghislain Ngoulou, Noureddin Bongo Valentin, Cyriaque Mvourandjiami, Abdul Moubcith Oceni Ossa, Mohamed Ali Saliou, Jessye Ella Ekogha and Gisèle Mombo, Ian Ngoulou’s mother-in-law . In addition to the seven people placed under arrest warrant at the Libreville central prison and the three under house arrest, two people were exonerated: Amedée Moundende, the “sister-in-law of Ian Ngoulou who found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time”, and Zolie Lekibi Perrin, the “cook of Noureddin Bongo Valentin who survives in an unfinished house and whose personal bed is cut and nailed», note Gabonactu.
