A comedy thriller set in the art world is coming to US cinemas this month, for which there is now a trailer for your eyes. In “The Kill Room,” Uma Thurman, an art dealer, teams up with a crook played by Sam Jackson.
On September 29th you can admire the film “The Kill Room”, which reunites the “Pulp Fiction” stars Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson, in US cinemas. There is no German start date for the film yet.
In the trailer for the film we see art dealer Patrice Capullo (Thurman) getting involved in a money laundering deal with underworld boss Gordon Davis (Jackson). Overpriced works of art by the hitman Reggie PItt (Joe Manganiello) are to be sold. But when he turns out to be a true natural talent who develops a real passion for his artistic work, the matter becomes complicated…
Other roles include Maya Hawke, Debi Mazar, Marianne Rendón, Mike Doyle, Dree Hemingway, Amy Keum, Candy Buckley, Larry Pine, Jennifer Kim, Matthew Maher, Tom Pecinka and Alexander Sokovikov.
Director Nicol Paone previously appeared on shows like Punk’d and Funny or Die before releasing her own comedy film Friendsgiving in 2020. The screenplay for “The Kill Room” comes from Jonathan Jacobson (“Bench Warmers”).
