The government and the tourism sector are starting an active dialogue to further enlighten the business.
The Ministry of Tourism, together with industry representatives and the Ministry of Finance, will develop concrete measures to ensure that conscientious hoteliers and restaurateurs, who are building the image of Bulgaria as a tourist destination, will not suffer from unfair competition due to vicious practices.
Once the proposals are formulated, they will be discussed and, upon agreement, an agreement will be drawn up between the government and the sector.
This was agreed at today’s meeting of Prime Minister Academician Nikolay Denkov with representatives of the hotel and restaurant business. The Minister of Tourism Zaritsa Dinkova and the Minister of Finance Asen Vasilev also took part in the conversation.
During the meeting, the industry shared a number of problems accumulated over the years, which prevent them from working peacefully.
“The greatest potential for improvement is where the greatest problems are. If you propose solutions that make sense, we will discuss them and implement them,” Prime Minister Academician Denkov said.
The Prime Minister emphasized that effective actions can be implemented much more successfully with the support of the industry.
