Study Reveals Insights on Russian Mobilized Soldiers: Death Patterns, Demographics, and Regional Breakdown

In a study conducted by the Russian non-governmental organization “Conflict Intelligence Team” (Conflict Intelligence Team), journalists studied the data of about 3,000 mobilized soldiers who died since the mobilization was announced on September 21, 2022.

The results of the study showed that the majority of these soldiers fell a month after the start of mobilization. On average, these people died in the war after four and a half months.

The most losses were recorded in autumn 2022 and spring 2023. More than half of those who fell were between the ages of 30 and 45. The youngest person who fell was 19 years old, and the oldest – 62.

Most of the fallen were conscripted from Buryatia, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Samara and Volgograd regions.
