The province of Huambo hosts, from today onwards, the senior national volleyball championships, for both sexes, at the Osvaldo Serra Van-Dúnem Pavilion.
According to the president of the Angolan Federation of the sport, Valentim Geraldo, the event will feature the participation of teams from Pura Sports, Blue Vólei Clube, Mente Activa, Clube Desportivo do Império and Scorpions da Boa Fé, ISPTEC, Sporting do Bié, 4 de Junho do Huambo, Núcleo do Cuanza-Sul, Inter do Namibe, Sporting de Benguela and Estrela do Palácio da Huíla.
“We have everything in place to hold the competition. A committee was created to facilitate the process of structuring the event”, he assured.
