The pro-Kremlin leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced on the “Telegram” platform that he is safe and sound, but in the hospital in Moscow, where a large influx of Chechen leadership cars was recently observed, his uncle was being treated.
This is how Kadyrov commented on the news on social media that he is seriously ill and being treated in Moscow at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian Presidential Administration.
“Glory to the Most High, I am alive and well and I don’t understand at all why such noise should be made even in the case of my illness,” Kadyrov writes in “Telegram”.
At the same time, the leader of Chechnya claimed that he visited the Central Clinical Hospital while he was in Moscow on a “business mission” and did so because his uncle Magomed Kadyrov was being treated at the hospital. He also published a photo of himself at his uncle’s bedside.
Rumors that 46-year-old Ramzan Kadyrov is seriously ill have appeared in the media from time to time since the beginning of the year.
Kadyrov is one of the most ardent supporters of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
It is true that he once allowed himself to criticize the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
Kadyrov once also supported Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Russian mercenary group “Wagner”. Shortly before the “Wagner” revolt in June, an argument broke out between them.
