Marriage at First Sight: Episode 2 Recap – Promising Matches and Compelling Chemistry

After a series of ill-matched couples, formed almost exclusively with the aim of sparking arguments and arguments, it is a relief to see that Marriage at first sight has decided, at least for now, to bring together singles capable (really) of compensating for each other’s shortcomings. In the second episode of the Real Time docu-reality – which the most diehards can catch up with a fair amount of advance on Discovery+ – it seems clear, in fact, that the protagonists of this edition have all intentions to get to know each other and to deepen the bond that the experts have just outlined on paper, placing them close to each other. The proof of the blindfold to be discovered directly on the altar, with the future husband or wife a few centimeters away, could have been a double-edged sword because it would have immediately caught the singles in the act of amazement and disappointment – which, for example, happened to Cristina Cadei Danesi and Mattia Viteritti in 2022, as fans of Marriage at first sight – but, fortunately, no accidents were recorded by the cameras.

The expressions of the participants in the experiment turned out to be extremely relaxed and complicit, to the point of almost making us cry at the thought that the experts had finally guessed the right cast so that the experiment at the basis of Marriage at first sight – that is, trying to see if two people who get married in the dark have any chance of remaining united by gradually getting to know each other – succeeds in its aim. From first impressions, it is clear that one couple has a clear advantage over the others: it is the one formed by Alberto Miliziano – twenty-eight year old from Nova Milanese, osteopath – e Sonia Liverans – twenty-seven year old from Faenza, Mechanical designer profession -. From the first approach in fact, it immediately became clear to us that the chemistry between the two is strong and intense both on a physical level – for them the kiss has already arrived, and not only that – but on the mental one. They look for each other, touch each other, and transmit that immediate complicity that a Marriage at first sight we only saw it a few times, the last of which was between Irene Pignieri and Matteo Riva who, not surprisingly, left the experiment still hand in hand.

However, they also seem to be on the right track Gianna Di Rosa – 28 years old, Venetian – e Juanchi Sanchez – 35 years old, originally from the Dominican Republic – who, despite the slight age difference, seem to immediately get along. The synergy, in this case too, is there, even if Gianna seems to need some time to acquire the confidence necessary to let herself be touched. Right now, the only doubt regarding the couples in this edition of Marriage at first sight seems to hover around Alessandro D’Agate – 26 years of Milan – e Valentina Mangali – 29 years old from Bergamo -. The first approach is positive and, if we can say, particularly tender, and yet something doesn’t convince us. Alessandro appears, at least for now, very restrained, perhaps due to the long and tormented relationship that has absorbed him for many years, leaving him disconsolate and wary of future adventures. Valentina seems cheerful and confident, but understanding whether this will be enough to bring Alessandro to her side is yet to be seen. Meanwhile it seems clear that Marriage at first sight has engaged in the right gear, and we are very curious to know how the next episodes will evolve.
