During the month of September, the Ministry of Health is marking “National Communicable Disease Awareness Month” through a series of awareness and information campaigns on influenza vaccination and against Covid-19.
Influenza is responsible for approximately 50 million symptomatic cases each year in the European Union and up to 70,000 deaths per year, doctors warn. In Romania, last season, the flu killed 97 people. Daiana Militaru, spokesperson of DSP Gorjtells us what the benefits of vaccination are:
