Autumn will arrive with force in the Big Apple.
This coming September 23rd, autumn officially begins and it will do so with rain and cool temperatures.
According to the forecast, for this Saturday, the first day of autumn is expected to begin with rain from 8:00 in the morning and with temperatures close to 66 degrees.
The chance of rain is 100 percent.
The drop in temperatures, explained Stephanie Viés, will be caused by a system that is rising from Florida that is accompanied by rain.
“We are monitoring an area of low pressure that is in Florida and that will move north in the coming days,” he said.
“It is going to bring us instability for the beginning of autumn that will bring us a lot of rain on Saturday and will continue on Sunday and at the beginning of next week,” he predicted.
For Sunday, the chances of rain are at 40 percent with minimum temperatures near 62 degrees.
