According to complete information on Apple’s official website, iOS 17 has 100 new features that can be maximized by iPhone users from iPhone SE Gen 2 to iPhone 15 Pro Max.
However, some iOS 17 users are experiencing problems with one of the new features, namely the increasing choice of ringtones.

The addition of new ringtone options also changes the default notification sound for all applications in iOS 17.
Previously, the default notification sound was tri-tone with a loud and familiar alert sound.
In the iOS 17 update, Apple changed the default notification sound to rebound, one of the new ringtones.

Unfortunately, the rebound alert sound is only a tap and has a much slower rhythm compared to the other options, especially when compared to its predecessor’s default notification sound, namely tri-tone.
Disappointment was voiced by iOS 17 users on the Apple forum which was first posted by BYELIK and has been viewed by 1,700 thousand users.
“iOS 17, the default notification sound has changed to rebound instead of tri-tone. And now, it sounds very quiet. Apart from that, it cannot be replaced or changed. Is it possible that this will be changed or improved????” he wrote.

The change in the default notification sound has a big impact on users with hearing problems, such as that experienced by user Mickyc, who also expressed his disappointment.
“I have a hearing problem and have difficulty hearing (the rebound notification sound). How disappointing for a hearing impaired person. Apple, why change something that isn’t broken. I need to be able to change that voice,” he said.
