Disney+ has everything ready for the premiere of the long-awaited live-action series of Percy Jackson and the Olympians,and we can now enjoy the first full trailer of the adaptation.
Announced in 2020, the series seeks to bring the story much more faithfully to the original material, after the films failed to do so despite performing quite well at the box office. Something similar to what Warner Bros. Discovery is aiming for with the new adaptation of Harry Potter.
The first preview focuses on showing the protagonists, in addition to emphasizing the visual display, the special effects and the appearance of the monsters and creatures that Percy and company will face:

Who stars in Percy Jackson and the Olympians?
The series will feature Walker Scobell, who played a younger version of Ryan Reynolds in The Adam Project Like Percy. He will be joined by Leah Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri as Annabeth and Grover, making up the leading trio.

The cast is completed by big names such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jay Duplass, Timothy Omundson, Adam Joseph Copeland, Jennifer Shirley, Toby Stephens as Poseidon and the late Lance Reddick who would play Zeus.
