The fire occurred in the Adler district, not far from the oil depot, emergency services are working on the spot, RIA Novosti was told by emergency service 112.
“An oil depot, they are calling from different addresses, someone sees that it is in the area of the airport. What happened is not yet known, but the fire, yes, is not yet known, the services are working, the city services have all been notified, there is a fire on Aviatsionnaya (street),” said the 112 operator.
As the 112 emergency service added, all city services, police, firefighters, ambulance, and gas services are on site.
The Unified City Dispatch Service also confirmed that Sochi residents were receiving reports of a fire in the area.
