The Limburg band DeWolff is this year’s winner of the Golden Notekraker, the prize for the artist or band with the most special and influential musical live performances of the season. The prize was presented on Tuesday evening at the Melkweg in Amsterdam.

Singer Bente receives the Silver Notekraker, the prize for the most important newcomer of the past year.

Krezip drummer Bram van den Berg, who temporarily plays drums with the Irish band U2, has won the Humble Heroes Award. This prize is presented to an influential session musician unknown to the general public.

The winners were chosen by musicians and producers affiliated with the copyright organization Sena. Son Mieux, Krezip, Typhoon and Bennie Sings also had a chance to win the Golden Notekraker.
