JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Expendables 4 aka Expend4bles is one of the most awaited by action film fans.
The film has been shown in several countries and is ready to be shown on September 22 2023 in Indonesian cinemas.
Even so, action actor Iko Uwais did not participate in promoting the film because he was taking part in the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) strike.

This strike affected the schedules and commitments of actors and production, including actors in the film Expend4bles.
Iko Uwais, a member of SAG, showed solidarity with his colleagues who were on strike and supported their efforts to obtain fair compensation and better working conditions.
“It’s a shame that because of the SAG strike, Iko Uwais and his friends at Expendables were unable to promote this film,” said Iko Uwais’ wife, Audy Item, when met at a special screening event in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (19/9/ 2023).

Iko Uwais’ wife, Audy Item, when met at a special screening event for the film Expend4bles in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (19/9/2023).
Audy added that Iko could not be present to promote the film in Indonesia or abroad.
“Not only did it prevent Iko from promoting this film in Indonesia, even the gala premiere in Hollywood was cancelled. We all really regret Iko’s absence due to this SAG strike. “Hopefully this SAG Strike will end soon,” continued Audy.
Iko himself plays the main villain named Suarto or Rahmat.
In Expend4bles, Iko Uwais joins the ranks of popular actors such as Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Tony Jaa.
