Diana Șoșoacă, former member of the AUR party, came forward with accusations against the political formation from which she was expelled more than two years ago. According to her claims, the AUR would have taken over a draft law to which she contributed.
Diana Șoșoacă and deputy Ciprian Ciubuc accuse the AUR senator Claudiu Târziu of launching a lie in the public space, in which he falsely claims that the AUR party is the author of a bill that does not belong to the political formation.
They request that Târziu correct this incorrect information.
Senator Diana Sosoacă’s bill, “stolen” by AUR
According to a press release issued, the draft law under discussion refers to the support given to Romanians in the diaspora.
Sosoacă accuses that this draft law was entirely designed and drafted by deputy Ciprian Ciubuc, being signed and supported by several co-initiators.
“The main initiator, deputy Ciprian Ciubuc, is in a lawsuit with the AUR for non-statutory exclusion, but also because he contested the results of the so-called AUR Congress, so the fact that the AUR assumes a bill of a deputy that he excluded from the party it is proof of gross hypocrisy,” the quoted statement said.
In addition, the senator states that she received an invitation to participate in the meeting of the Commission for Romanians everywhere, led by Senator Claudiu Târziu, the president of the Commission, where she was going to support the bill under discussion.

The co-initiators who signed the project before it was submitted to the legislative circuit are: Iovanovici-Şoşoacă Diana – senator, president of SOS Romania; Coleşa Ilie-Alin – AUR deputy; Focsa Dumitru-Viorel – unaffiliated deputy; Rusu Daniel-Gheorghe – unaffiliated deputy.
Therefore, there is only one AUR deputy signatory, says the senator. He was only a co-initiator, that is, he became a signatory after the draft was written.
“This manner of behavior on the part of the AUR has become typical for a party whose ranks occasionally include drug users, rapists, and people of extreme violence, but which always hides from the responsibility of the serious acts that take place in its ranks, but who, instead, steal the ideas and projects of others in search of votes”, added Soșoacă.
