At the same time, Svoboda’s stick was on loan to the Czech Hockey Association for three years in its hall of fame in Prague’s Harfa shopping center, where it was one of the valuable artefacts. But in May of this year, the hall of fame was closed after eight years due to the economic disadvantage of the project.
At the beginning of June, pictures of Dominik Hašek, who, for example, came to the closing hall of fame with a shopping basket for his souvenirs, went around the world. It was a sad sight, and the owner of the club, Petr Svoboda, apparently had a similar experience.
Sad day for @hasek_dominik. The legendary goaltender braves things from the defunct Hall of Fame @czehockey… Whatever the reasons, it is not a good business card for cs hockey…😓 It was Hašek who helped build it. He put things and heart into her…

A rare artefact in the form of a hockey stick, which arranged probably the greatest success in the history of Czech hockey, will acquire a new owner on September 19, when the auction ends. The asking price is 180,000 crowns, it is also possible to buy it immediately for a quarter of a million crowns.
Sport.cz contacted Czech Hockey with a request for answers to questions about whether the hockey association will participate in the auction and why it did not agree with the owner of the hockey stick on another loan to the new hall of fame, which should be opened in another Palladium shopping center in Prague in March 2024 at the latest . Czech hockey spokesman Michael Schuster said in response that he could not comment on the matter at the moment, but that the association would comment on the situation in the near future.
