Indonesia won 2-0 against Kyrgyzstan at Zhejiang Normal University East Stadium, Jinhua, Tuesday (19/9/2023) evening WIB. Two goals from Indonesia’s first match in Group F Football at the 2022 Asian Games were scored by Ramai Rumakiek and Hugo Samir in the second half.
This victory puts the Garuda squad at the top of the standings with three points, ahead of North Korea in discipline points. North Korea previously beat Taiwan also with a score of 2-0.
This positive start was called by the U-24 national team coach Indra Sjafri very important. This gives Indonesia the advantage of looking ahead to the next match in an effort to win a ticket to the round of 16.
“This is the first match for us and in every tournament, this first match is very important. Thank God we were able to win it,” said Indra Sjafri after the match.

Next, Indonesia will face Taiwan in Group F of the 2022 Asian Games, Thursday (21/9) afternoon WIB. Rumakiek et al will then close the group phase by facing North Korea, which is expected to be the main competitor to become the top of the standings.
