This leak from Agarwal is similar to the previous price leak which came from a retailer from Romania, as quoted by detikINET from GSM Arena, Tuesday (19/9/2023).
So far, the Xiaomi 13T range is the only Xiaomi cellphone that is confirmed to have premium software support. That is 4 OS updates and five years of security updates, or the equivalent of the updates that Samsung and OnePlus promise for their devices.
Other leaks have of course not been confirmed, including leaks regarding specifications. Both the 13T and 13T Pro are said to have a 6.67 inch 144Hz Amoled screen (1,220 x 2,712 pixels), a 50MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto camera, a 12MP ultra wide camera and a 20MP selfie camera.
Both also use a 5,000 mAh battery. The difference is, the Pro variant uses Dimensity 9200+ and supports a 120W charger. Meanwhile the 13T uses Dimensity 8200 Ultra and 67W charging.
Previously, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had confirmed the launch date for the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro, both of which use this Leica camera. Through the X account, Lei Jun confirmed that these two cellphones will be released on September 26.
“#Xiaomi13TSeries, co-designed with Leica, will be available on September 26! Very excited to bring the original Leica image to more fans around the world.๐ ๐ท๐ด,” wrote Lei Jun, Founder and CEO of Xiaomi on his X account.
