According to the medium NBC Miamithe incident occurred during the afternoon of last Saturday, September 16, in Hillsborough County.

The police report indicates that, around 4:00 pm, authorities received an emergency call reporting multiple gunshot detonations in a home located in the 11000 block of Lynmoor Drive, in Riverview.

Upon arriving at the scene, the officers found the young man pointing a gun at his head, which led to a negotiation to arrest him. After 16 minutes of being unsuccessful, the agents fired a non-lethal bullet, which allowed the minor to be subdued without putting his life at risk.

When the situation calmed down, officers discovered the body of a woman in the driveway of a nearby home.

The local media WFLA He was able to speak with the detainee’s brother, who indicated that he was at home when he heard that his mother and her boyfriend were fighting. Shortly after, the young man heard several gunshots, and upon leaving his room, he saw his brother shooting his mother.

The authorities believe that the boy ran out of the house after shooting his mother to chase the deceased’s boyfriend, a moment that was seen by some neighbors who decided to call 911.

Authorities indicated that the man survived five gunshot wounds, but is in critical condition in the hospital. The minor managed to wound him in the torso, hands and face.

During a press conference, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister compared the crime scene to a “nightmare,” noting that the 14-year-old boy’s life had also been dug as a result of his actions.

“You will never see the outside of a detention center,” the official said.

The authorities point out that the minor had no criminal record, and that they do not know the reasons that led him to commit such a crime. As this is an active investigation, authorities have not revealed the identities of any of those involved.
