21 girls and 29 boys took part in this year’s children’s off-road run in Schluchsee. After a run, the children were able to improve their results with laser and air rifle shooting.
This year’s children’s off-road run, which the ski club and the Schluchsee sports shooting club once again organized together, took place on Saturday in the best conditions. All children from the Schluchseer kindergarten, the local elementary school and the Schluchseer clubs were eligible to take part.
The Schluchsee municipality covered the costs of the event because the competition was a replacement event for the children’s ski festival that was canceled last winter. 21 girls and 29 boys took part.
After a mass start, the children born in 2017 and younger had to complete a 250-meter-long route, peppered with several wooden hurdles and wooden cones, as a slalom. After the interval start over 1000 or 2000 meters, the older age groups also had to bring arrows and balls to the target, roll tires and balance over a tree trunk. They were then allowed to shoot at targets with laser or air rifles to improve their results.
All participants in the children’s benefit run received prizes and certificates. The first place winners received gold medals.
