It is under the theme: “making patients the actors of their own safety” that the world has been celebrating World Patient Safety Day since September 17.

Context of this celebration in Cameroon.

According to the head of public health in Cameroon, Dr. MANAOUDA Malachie during this press briefing held on September 18 in his ministerial department specifies that: “the state of health in Cameroon is a primary concern of the Head of the “State which thus marks a pause on the importance of this day the patient deserves treatment which guarantees his safety” to achieve this according to the Minister of Public Health of Cameroon it would be necessary in advance: “to raise awareness, to inform the public in order to bring them to collaborate, reduce the harm suffered by patients with the involvement of decision-makers, civil society, politicians.
