The Los Angeles Clippers have terminated negotiations to trade Philadelphia 76ers star guard James Harden.
Philadelphia 76ers star guard James Harden previously blasted the team’s front office as a liar and said he would not return to training camp and hoped he would be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
According to a report by ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst, the Los Angeles Clippers terminated negotiations to seek a trade for James Harden. Windhorst revealed on The Hoop Collective Podcast: “The Philadelphia 76ers did try to trade Harden, but the deal did not happen. I think they can definitely make it during the season. Agreement, that’s what they want to do.”
The Los Angeles Clippers are Harden’s ideal destination for the new season. He requested a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers in June this year and received a player option worth $35.6 million. Although he also considered joining the New York Knicks, he was chosen by the two teams. There was no dialogue between the two, and it seems that “bearded life” will continue to take place.
