SITARO, KOMPAS.TV- To prevent the spread of dengue fever, Community Health Center officers go around residents’ houses and sprinkle medicine to kill mosquito larvae in residents’ water tanks.
After being sprinkled, residents were advised not to use the water for one night, therefore, for water that was still being consumed, the officers asked them to refill the abate themselves at night after the water was not used.
It is hoped that the sowing of abate will help residents avoid dengue fever caused by the Aedes Aegepty mosquito.
To date, according to data from the local government, the number of dengue fever cases up to August 2023 has recorded 14 cases.
