That night, shortly after 2:00 a.m., the police received a report that three strangers attacked two girls in the area of a capital hotel. One of them was hit, and after a threat, a backpack with personal belongings and money was taken, reports the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
This case is related to the subsequent chase between police officers and three youths.
It was previously reported that at around 5:15 a security guard at a capital business center reported three masked men who had jumped over the fence of the site carrying some luggage.
Police teams have been dispatched to the scene. They followed the three who tried to get on a public transport bus. A 15-year-old was detained on the spot, and two others who jumped off the bus and ran away on foot.
During the chase, warning shots were fired in a safe direction, but the fugitives did not stop. When another shot was fired, one of them was wounded – an 18-year-old man. He was immediately taken to hospital and later died.
Shortly before noon, the last third participant in the incident was detained at his home in “Botunets”. The two attacked girls will have to identify the two boys identified by the police.
