Official Geely dealers announced the start of sales of the Belarusian crossover Belgee X50, according to a press release received by Autonews.ru.
The model is produced by the Belarusian-Chinese joint venture BelGee, which appeared in 2011. Today it is engaged in large-scale assembly of Chinese crossovers Geely Atlas Pro, Tugella and Coolray. It was the latter car that became the prototype for the BelGee X50.

The new Belgee X50 differs from the original Coolray only in the new logo. On the trunk lid the “Geely” inscription was changed to “Belpee” and an X50 sticker was installed. A licensed copy of the Geely Coolray has also been produced in Malaysia since 2020, where it is called Proton X50.
In Russia, the Belgee X50 will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a power of 150 hp, which works in conjunction with a seven-speed “robot”. Drive is front-wheel drive.
Belgee X50 is available in three trim levels: Active, Style and Prestige. Already in the basic version, the model has heated and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, heated front seats, power windows on all doors, cruise control, air conditioning and an audio system with six speakers.
The cheapest Belgee X50 will be offered at a price starting from RUB 2,050,990. subject to special conditions for purchases under the trade-in program. In the middle configuration, the model is offered for RUB 2,160,990, and the top version costs RUB 2,260,990.
Autonews.ru previously reported that Geely published an image of a new crossover for Russia. Perhaps we are talking about the imminent Russian premiere of the new generation Geely Coolray crossover.
