An 18-year-old man was shot by a policeman during a chase near the capital’s Tokuda Hospital.
The chase was between three masked youths and a police patrol in the area of the hospital, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed for Dir.bg.
The incident happened around 5:15 a.m., and residents of the area said on the social network that they woke up to gunshots.
The security guard of a nearby business center reported to 112 that three masked men were jumping over the fence of the site and carrying luggage. Police teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.

The three began to run, and during the brief pursuit, one of the suspects was shot by a police officer.
It turned out to be an 18-year-old boy, who was immediately taken to the hospital, the second fugitive was detained, and the third managed to escape and is currently being sought, the press center told Dir.bg.
The person arrested during the chase with the police turned out to be 15 years old. The boy first tried to escape with a public transport bus, but was caught, the press center said.
