Russia accuse United States of America (US) controlled the war against his country by continuing to supply weapons to Ukraine. Most recently, Washington will supply long range missile which is equipped with bom cluster for Kyiv.
As reported Arab NewsMonday (18/9/2023), the accusation was conveyed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu) Sergey Lavrov while commenting on the potential supply of long-range missiles to Ukraine from the US.
“No matter what is said, they (the US) control this war. This country supplies weapons, ammunition, intelligence information, (and) data from satellites. They are pursuing war against us,” Lavrov said in his statement, as quoted by the news agency TASS.
Lavrov added that the possible supply of long-range missiles to Kyiv by Western countries will not change the essence of what is happening on the territory of Ukraine at the moment.
“The fact that this will not change the essence of what is happening in Ukraine is clear. Meanwhile what is happening is that Ukraine has been preparing, has long been preparing to inflict strategic defeat on Russia using its hands and bodies,” said Lavrov.
In a statement on Thursday (14/9) last week, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba reported ‘progress’ in the supply of ATACMS and Taurus long-range missiles by the US and Germany.
“We are very actively involved in this. The President holds negotiations or meetings every day to speed up the delivery of what was promised and to get new commitments from partners who send us weapons,” he said as quoted by the news agency. Ukrinform.
