Al-Marsad newspaper: The former director of football for the first team at Al-Shabab Club, Nizar Al-Aqeel, revealed those responsible for his dismissal from the club.
Al-Aqeel said, in his interview with the “My Experience” program: “The one who contacted me about the dismissal was Mr. Khalif Louisha, CEO, and the government made me a scapegoat.”
He continued: “You do not have to have a level of competence in the clubs in order for you to be satisfied. Satisfaction with your personality exceeds satisfaction with your competence.”
He added: “The Ministry of Sports is disrupting the club’s interests in order to wait until a new administration comes in, and what happened to me and because of it I left the club was not dealt with fairly and I was disappointed in myself.”
He continued: “I do not know Khaled Al-Thunayan on a personal level, but I know him from afar and I know his abilities,” noting that the Ministry of Sports disrupted the interests of youth.
He concluded: “I have never mixed my relationship with anyone with my work, but there was an incident of administrative negligence related to a player’s documents and they saw that I was responsible for it.”
Ibn Al-Layth Nizar Al-Aqeel (with burning):
-The country hurt me and fired me unjustly!!
-Al-Thunayan is the head of the club to implement (the Timbukti deal)!!
-The Ministry of Sports disrupted the interests of youth!!
-I am the scapegoat in the passport case!!
-Youth Audience (Ministry of Defence)
