The iPhone 15 Pro’s 5G modem is 24 percent faster
According to data from SpeedSmartThe upcoming iPhone 15 Pro is expected to provide improved connectivity to fifth generation (5G) technology compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro. Data suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro may provide download speeds up to 24 percent faster on 5G networks.
SpeedSmart data reveals that the largest increase in download speeds was observed on the Verizon network. The iPhone 14 Pro had an average download speed of 195.83Mbps, while the iPhone 15 Pro showed an average of 243.06Mbps. On the T-Mobile network, the iPhone 15 Pro demonstrated the fastest average download speeds on 5G networks at an average of 300.92 Mbps, beating the iPhone 14 Pro’s 204.34 Mbps on AT&T’s network.

Interestingly, while download speeds saw a significant improvement, upload speeds showed only a slight increase across the three major carriers. This improvement in 5G performance can be attributed to the upgraded modem used in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
