Five men were injured by bullets, including two seriously, during the night from Saturday to Sunday during a shooting in a town in Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis), we learned from a police source and from the parquet.
Around 11:30 p.m., rue Marcello Mastroianni, “two individuals on scooters shot five individuals from the Grémillon city,” said a police source.
Aged 20 to 28, the victims went to the emergency room very close to the Avicennes hospital, adjoining the city. Two of the injured were treated as an “absolute emergency” immediately, but only the vital prognosis of one of them was still in jeopardy on Sunday morning, indicated the Bobigny prosecutor’s office. No arrests took place immediately.
In a press release, the city’s communist mayor denounced “a particularly shocking act” and expressed his “anger and incomprehension”.
“I remain mobilized, alongside the victims and residents of the Jean-Grémillon district, to demonstrate our common desire to maintain a spirit of peace and cohesion in the face of violence,” declared Abdel Sadi, who met the families the victims. The investigation is entrusted to the Seine-Saint-Denis judicial police.
