Indian team management busy discussion in hotel room before Asia Cup final. NDTV reported that the unofficial meeting was held at the team hotel in Colombo on Saturday.

Chief coach Rahul Dravid, batting coach Vikram, Rathore bowling coach Paras Mambre, chief selector Ajith Agarkar and captain Rohit Sharma participated in the discussion which lasted for three hours.

It is reported that the meeting was held to discuss the planning of the Asia Cup final and the squad selection for the upcoming Australian series.

Before the World Cup starting on October 5, India will play a three-match ODI series against Australia at home. The matches will be held on September 22, 24 and 27. The squad for this series will be announced on the next day itself.

Meanwhile, India will face Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup today. The match will be held in Colombo from 3 pm. The match will be telecast live on Star Sports channel and Hotstar.
