PP Announces List of Candidates for Congress of Deputies for General Elections 2023

This Monday, June 12, 2023, the Popular Party has made public the list of candidates for the Congress of Deputies for the general elections on July 23. Thus, the names of the PP proposals for each province are already known, which show a 75% renewal compared to the previous candidacy, specifically, 39 of the 52 candidates for deputies are new.

On the one hand, Alberto Núñez Feijóo is presented as head of the list in Madrid, while the general secretary will be Cuca Gamarra, who is presented by La Rioja. The general coordinator is Elías Bendodo, who will head the Málaga one, as indicated in the PP official website.

Also noteworthy is the candidacy of Ana Pastor, former minister, for Pontevedra; The leader of Nuevas Generaciones, Beatriz Fanjul, is running for Bizkaia, while the leaders of Génova Carmen Fúnez and Carmen Navarro lead the candidates in Ciudad Real and Albacete, respectively, as reported by Europa Press.

On the other hand, the National Deputy Secretary of Economy of the PP, Juan Bravo, heads the list for Seville and Macarena Montesinos will do so in Alicante. Esteban González Pons is the head of the list in Valencia. Among others, the former UPN deputy, Sergio Sayas, heads the list of the Foral Community of Navarra.
