In the recent period, the youth segment faces many different challenges in the professional and specialized fields, which leads them to negative results that appear adversely on their psychological health. What are the main reasons for the deterioration of youth psychology?

The youth group nowadays lacks sufficient experience in facing life, which has resulted in their isolation from society and this is due to the influence of social media on them, as young people have become searching for idealism in what they aspire to through their belief that happiness lies in a good job and position, and that is what It affects them negatively and destroys their dreams when they realize the reality of the field of work. This is directly reflected in their psychological health because reality is not limited to having a routine office job only, but the world has become advanced and requires keeping up with the creative process.

On the other hand, young people’s desire to achieve idealism results in excessive thinking, which has left us with victims suffering from various forms of disorders, due to their obsession with achieving idealism, which has caused a decrease in self-confidence, the strength of their focus on the ideal appearance, and a lack of self-sufficiency.

Other research has also shown that young people tend to overthink, especially girls, without awareness that overthinking can lead them to mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, emotional disturbance and self-destructive behaviors, which negatively affect young people’s creative and professional production.

In a study conducted by the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, where health examinations were conducted on people between the ages of 20 and 39 years, and these examinations were monitored between 2009 and 2012 until December 2018, it was found through this study that about 13% of the participants suffered from some type of Psychological disorders, which include insomnia, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or personality disorder. This confirms the strong impact of mental health on young people, as they are vulnerable to psychological illnesses as a result of the exacerbation of challenges, and among the most important psychological symptoms are What appears in young people is a loss of passion for activities that were previously enjoyable. Here the loophole reveals that the youth’s passion has dissipated amid the crowd of psychological crises that young people suffer from, which led to a decline in their creative performance. To limit the increase in this phenomenon, Bahrain has contributed to providing moral and material support to young people through its support for small projects and talents among young people. Society and parents play a positive role in their strong influence on young people by providing motivational phrases and psychological guidance with the aim of reviving the passion of young people and helping them, from a psychological aspect, in developing themselves and elevating them for a better future.
