The Syrian artist, Safaa Sultan, reassured her fans and confirmed that she had overcome a health crisis that she did not reveal, stressing that she would “come back stronger than she was.”
Sultan published a post on her Facebook account in which she revealed that she had overcome a health crisis, noting that she had received support from family, friends, and the medical team supervising her.
Two days before announcing that she had overcome her health crisis, the famous artist published a prayer in which she wished for recovery and well-being, without also specifying any details regarding the nature of the health crisis.
Last August, the artist Safaa Sultan revealed in a previous interview with ET Arabic that she had suffered more than one stroke before she recovered.
Sultan was born in the Jordanian city of Amman to a Jordanian father and a Syrian mother from Damascus. She got her start in the field of acting by participating in dubbing a documentary film from English to Arabic during her childhood. From a young age, she used to imitate and act, and she always amazed those around her with her performances and imitations of artists.
She spent her studies until high school between Jordan and Syria, then she traveled to the United States to study dentistry, which she continued for five years, but she did not complete her studies and returned to Syria.
