Brazil’s all-time leading goalscorer Neymar made his Saudi Pro League debut for Al Hilal on Friday, coming off the bench for the final 26 minutes of his new club’s 6-1 win over Al Riyadh.
The 31-year-old, who joined the former Asian champions from Paris Saint-Germain for 90 million euros ($95.9 million) last month, came on as a substitute for fellow Brazilian Michael in the 64th minute and set up Malcom for his fourth goal by Al Hilal before 83 minutes.

Aleksandar Mitrovic had given Al Hilal the lead with a penalty in the 30th minute before goals from Yassir Al-Shahrani and Nasser Al-Dawsari gave the league leaders a comfortable lead.
Neymar, who surpassed Pelé’s record as Brazil’s top scorer when he scored twice in a 5-1 win over Bolívia last Friday, had not played for Al Hilal since moving to Saudi Arabia due to an ankle injury.
Fans cheered when Al Hilal captain Salem Al-Dawsari opted to take a penalty in the 87th minute as Neymar watched the Saudi Arabian winger convert before scoring his side’s sixth goal in stoppage time achieved.
