Bola.net – Persija Jakarta released three players to the U-24 Indonesian National Team for the 2022 Asian Games. The three are Dony Tri Pamungkas, Syahrian Abimanyuand Rizky Ridho.
The 2022 Asian Games will take place in Hangzhou, China, from 23 September to 8 October 2023. The Indonesian U-24 National Team team left for China on Saturday (16/9) early morning WIB.
Dony Tri Pamungkas, Syahrian Abimanyu, and Rizky Ridho will be with the Indonesian U-24 National Team until 8 September 2023. This is stated in the summons letter number 3610/AGB/553/IX-2023.
As a result, Dony Tri Pamungkas, Syahrian Abimanyu, and Rizky Ridho will miss Persija’s four matches in BRI Liga 1 2023/2024. The three of them will be absent from the matches against Persik Kediri (17/9), Bali United (24/9), Persis Solo (30/9) and Barito Putera (7/10).
“Persija will lose Dony Tri Pamungkas, Syahrian Abimanyu and Ridho Rizky for the next four matches because they have to defend the national team in the Asian Games,” said Persija coach, Thomas Doll, adapted from the club’s website, Saturday (16/9).

This German coach also prayed for the three of them to avoid injury. He wants Dony Tri Pamungkas, Syahrian Abimanyu and Rizky Ridho to return to Persija fit.
“I hope they all return healthy and fit,” added Thomas Doll.
Meanwhile, the U-24 Indonesian National Team is part of Group F of the 2022 Asian Games. The Garuda Muda squad will face North Korea, Kyrgyzstan and Chinese Taipei.
