Representative of the “Doctors Barbies”, lawyer Diego Tuma, will take legal action against the alleged victim of malpractice, Paola Houttave. The complaint would be for extortion, defamation and damages.
“She (Paola Houttave) never reported this fact to some relevant organizations. There are no complaints in the Public Ministry, there are no complaints in the Ministry of Health, the complaint was not made public,” said lawyer Oscar Tuma on radio 1330 AM.
Likewise, he stated that the daughter of the alleged victim made the complaint on social networks three days after Mrs. Paola, allegedly, told the lawyer Tuma that she wanted to “leave things as they were.”
“We are going to take the corresponding actions, which is a complaint for extortion, which was the complaint we were going to make initially and after talking with Paola we suspended that. Then there is also defamation and slander and damages,” said the lawyer.
Later, Tuma explains that in desperation one of the Oliveira sisters sent the media so they could speak with the lawyer. “In desperation, Ester sent the press to talk to me. “They couldn’t believe what was happening, they were obviously in shock, scared.”
“I decided to take the case because on Thursday I already had all the evidence. I had audios where Mrs. Paola confesses that she touched her lips several times, that she visited endless doctors. The audio is terrible that she had sent to my client and they used a photo that did not match reality,” she pointed out.
