Examining Putin’s Psychological Health: Anger, Contempt, and No Fear

Cognovi Labs uses artificial intelligence and behavioral psychology to assess emotions. Cognovi Labs analyzed Putin’s February 21 and 24, 2022 speeches, as well as several speeches in 2022-23.

Although the hostilities did not go according to plan, this did not change the desire to continue the war. In his address to the Federal Assembly a year after the invasion, Putin’s speech was still dominated by hope, but also by anger, disgust, contempt and faith. A recent meeting with Erdogan shows the same combination: high levels of anger, disgust, contempt, hope, as well as wonder.
