Colombo: Young star Tilak Verma was disappointed when he debuted for India in the match against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup Super Four. Tilak returned with just five runs off nine balls. Thilak Verma came to the crease in the debut match with one down after captain Rohit Sharma was out for zero in the first over.
Thilak, who faced five balls to get the first run, hit a boundary in the seventh ball but did not have much life at the crease. On the ninth ball he faced, Tilak was bowled by Tansim Hasan.
