Roger Federer’s Gym Routine and Recovery: Strength Training, Physical Therapy, and More

Although he still travels a lot since ending his professional playing career a year ago, Roger Federer has nevertheless adopted a routine when he stays at home.

“After dropping my kids off at school, I go straight to the gym. I’ve had quite a few knee problems, so I’m recovering steadily. I haven’t been able to do much cardio – I mostly do strength training, abs and quads. I have a physical therapist that I have worked with for seven years and we see each other four times a week. He gives me treatments, massages, stretching and some exercises”explained the Swiss during an interview with Wall Street Journalin which he also spoke about his four children’s love for tennis.
