Present at the presentation of the calendar of the Curva Nord, Samir Handanovic he thanked and greeted the fans from the stage and at the end of his speech he confirmed that he will remain at Inter with a corporate role yet to be defined. “I thank you for your affection, not only today but over all these years. Thank you for your support, you put up with me and supported me – the words of the former Slovenian goalkeeper -. I am proud to have defended our colors in all these years, some years better, some years worse, but always with great responsibility towards the club and towards you, not only of the Curva Nord but of all the Inter fans. I thank you very much, I hope you will continue to do as you have always done. With you at the stadium sometimes the wind changes, many times you have given us a hand. I carry this with me in my heart, I never forget you. I’ll stay with you anyway“.
At 39, Handanovic has decided to hang up his gloves and is discussing the terms of a possible corporate role with Inter. If a managerial role seems unlikely, Handanovic would certainly return as a collaborator with non-technical tasks.
