Police in Spain are investigating four Real Madrid footballers who are suspected of spreading a video of sex with a minor. The club announced on its website that the accused players do not belong to the first team. In one case it is a member of Castilla, the other three play for the C-team.
The criminal complaint was filed on September 6 in the Canary Islands by the mother of the alleged sixteen-year-old victim. A Real C-team player recorded sex with her, three other players shared the video. The police arrested them on Thursday morning in the metropolis.

“Once the club knows the details, it will take the appropriate measures,” Real Madrid said in a statement.
The case broke shortly before former Spanish football boss Luis Rubiales is due to stand trial over his kiss with player Jenni Hermos after the victorious World Cup final. The prosecutor’s office accused him of sexual assault and coercion, and the union president resigned because of this. According to Rubiales, it was a consensual kiss, but the pawnbroker denied it and filed a criminal complaint against him.
