Bola.net – The world football body, FIFA, will soon hold The Best FIFA Football Award 2023. They have announced the nominations for FIFA’s best player in the world.
FIFA The Best Award is FIFA’s annual award. This award was held after FIFA and French Football decided to separate in awarding the world’s best player.
Last year, Lionel Messi won the Best FIFA Men’s Award. He was named the best player in the world according to FIFA.

No Ronaldo

Through their official website, FIFA confirmed the 12 names nominated for The Best FIFA Men’s Award.
6 of the 12 names entered are Manchester City players who won the treble winners. Apart from that, Lionel Messi, who brought the Argentine national team to victory, is included in the nomination list.
One name that does not appear from these 12 names is Cristiano Ronaldo. Just like the Ballon d’OR nominees, Ronaldo is considered to have contributed less in 2023 so he is not on the list.
