From the explanation of the Head of PR Oppo Indonesia, Baskoro Adiwiyono, the Oppo A98 5G prioritizes long-lasting battery capacity, as well as a main camera that is believed to be able to meet the user’s lifestyle.
“The 5,000 mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC technology can recharge the cellphone in just 5 minutes for 2.5 hours of viewing on YouTube and other streaming applications,” he explained at the product launch event which was held on Thursday (14/9) in Jakarta .
Meanwhile, for charging from 0 to 100 percent, Baskoro claims it only takes 44 minutes.
“If you charge for 30 minutes, users can watch 10.8 hours of video, or make calls up to 26.3 hours. “If you charge it for just 18 minutes, the battery will be 50 percent charged,” he continued.

The Oppo A98 battery itself, when fully charged, can be used for playing games for 8.4 hours and 16 hours for watching videos.
This cellphone screen has a 6.72 inch IPS LCD panel with a light level of 680 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Oppo A98 is quite thin, 8.2 mm thick and weighs 192 grams.
Oppo has equipped the A98 5G with three camera lenses on the back, each with a resolution of 64 MP with AI assistance for image processing, a 2 MP portrait lens and a 2 MP microlens. While the front camera is 32 MP.
“Oppo A98 5G is also tough, we carried out 14 thousand drop tests, 1,000 squeeze tests, and 500 thousand power button stress tests,” said Baskoro.

Powered by a 6 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G manufacturer, the Oppo A98 is equipped with 8 GB RAM which can be expanded by 8 GB, as well as 256 GB internal memory which can be increased to 1 TB.
Oppo released the A98 5G to the market for IDR 4,899 million and is exclusively available at Shopee and official Oppo retail stores.
