Bad Nauheim (pm), For many clubs it has become a matter of course to use the possibilities of the Internet. This includes emails and newsletters, as well as blogs and social networks such as X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and Facebook. Such instruments are used to maintain contacts, acquire new members or pass on information quickly and cost-effectively within and outside the association.
However, legal framework conditions must be taken into account, such as data protection and information obligations under the Telemedia Act. The question also arises again and again under what conditions photos can be published on the Internet.
These and other questions will be addressed in the online seminar “Clubs on the Internet,” which will take place on Thursday, September 28th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is offered by the “Volunteer Center – Active for Bad Nauheim.”
Essential content: Provider identification (imprint), responsibility for third-party content (texts and links), copyright and personal rights (texts and photos) and consequences of legal violations.
The speaker is lawyer and mediator Dr. Frank Weller. Participants will receive the link to the seminar in advance. Please register bindingly by Tuesday, September 26th by calling 0 60 32/92 03 59 or sending an email to fwz@fwz-badnauheim.de.
