Identifying Russian Terrorists in the Murder of Ukrainian Civilian in Bucha: Latest Updates and Investigation

Ukrainian investigators have identified four Russian terrorists who participated in the murder of a Ukrainian civilian during the occupation in the town of Bucha, located near the capital Kyiv.

At the beginning of their full-scale invasion, the Russians tried to capture the capital, Kiev, but were defeated by the ZSU. During the occupation of Bucha, which had strategic value in the failed offensive on Kiev, Russian soldiers committed horrific war crimes in the small Ukrainian town.

The Ukrainian Prosecutor’s Office has identified the perpetrators of another of them. According to the investigation, on February 27, 2022, while a column of Russian troops was passing through Bucha, one of the commanders ordered that any citizen wearing black clothing be considered an “enemy combatant.”

A man who worked as a security guard at a local Novus supermarket was wearing a black work uniform with the words ‘Novus Security’ written on it. Although he had no weapon and was in no way a threat, the Russian soldiers killed him in a merciless manner. The General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine has opened a case for violation of the laws and customs of war, as well as for intentional murder.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, evidence has been collected of 107,000 war crimes, committed by Russian terrorists. Including the killing of unarmed civilians and the rape of underage girls. Vladimir Putin has been declared a war criminal and an international warrant has been issued for his arrest.
