We haven’t heard much about Hades II since it was announced at last year’s Game Awards. This isn’t surprising, as Supergiant said it will launch as early access in 2023. This has led many to hope that we’d get Shadows dropped at The Game Awards this December, but that won’t be happening.
Supergiantdisclose, the early access release of Hades II has been postponed to the second quarter of 2024. That means we’ll get it as early as April. But why do we have to wait so long? Well, that’s where the good news comes from.
The developer says Hades II has “at least as much content in Early Access” from day one as the original Hades did when it came to Steam’s Early Access a year after its release on the Epic Games Store, so it sounds like it’ll be worth it wait.
