I hope so. The club’s management managed to supplement the team appropriately. I believe it is very well put together. The new guys fit into it without any problems. We can rely on four quality formations. And we are ready to jump in for everyone.

We would like for the next season to be much longer for us. I am convinced that we can go further. Comet always has the highest ambitions, and nothing changes. I believe we can fulfill them.
Of the pre-season reinforcements, the arrival of the American shooter Moses caught the most attention. How would you characterize him?
You can see that he likes the puck a lot. He is a fast skater with an emphatic finish. We’ll see how he does in our extra league. It is not easy to succeed in it.
In the preparatory duels, you most often started in the third or fourth attacking row. How do you handle the fact that you no longer have such a prominent role in the Brno team as in the past?
The line-up is, of course, up to the coaches. I have a different position now, but I am ready to do my best in whatever role is assigned to me. That’s how I set it up every season that I’m in Brno. I only care about the success of the Comet. We will pursue some goals, and I want to contribute as much as possible to their fulfillment.
How do you feel after summer training?
Good. But it was very long. I’m really looking forward to getting into the rhythm of the match and starting to play for points.

You will enter the extra league with Friday’s duel with Hradec Králové. What is the opponent for the opening?
Very heavy. But we are playing at home, so I believe that a full house will drive us. We need at least three points, because this year’s extra league will be extremely difficult.
So do you agree with your coach Martinec that this will be the best extraleague year in the last twenty years?
Possible. A lot of guys who worked in Russia in the past came back. Clubs invested a lot of money in reinforcements. It can be expected that the extra league will have enormous quality. In my opinion, it will also be incredibly balanced.
