Horácké divadlo, which Stránský led as director for many years, announced the sad news. He died on Sunday, September 10, after a protracted battle with a serious illness.

After the Velvet Revolution, he became its head and retired in 2005. “Throughout his professional career, he also devoted a lot of his free time to cooperation with amateur theater associations from the entire region,” saddened colleagues said.
Stránský also appeared in front of the camera, you may remember him from the fairy tale How the Princess Wakes or the comedy In the heat of royal love.
His son is a well-known actor and voice actor, representative of Ota Kovář from Ordinac v rozágárden and Doctors from Pócátky.
